Amazonian Nightcap
For one night, we brought the Amazon Rainforest to West London, marking five years of RE:TV’s collaboration with the Sustainable Markets Initiative and celebrating 40 years of Freuds. Transforming a Notting Hill mews into a fully immersive experience, we blended projection mapping, interactive foliage, and layered sound design to create a rainforest that responded to its visitors.
Guests entered through a fog-screen waterfall - a towering veil of vapour mist that gave the illusion they would get soaked. Beyond it, AI-generated impressions of the rainforest’s patterns, animals, and ecosystems were animated and mapped onto living plants, shifting with movement and light.
Three evolving Amazonian soundscapes filled the space, intensifying as guests neared capacitive sensor-rigged plants that triggered bursts of colour and sound.
A moment of connection with one of the world’s most vital ecosystems - without leaving London.
