UNHCR World Refugee Day

This year, in view of the global health crisis, the UNHCR wanted to celebrate and highlight the positive contributions of refugees on the frontlines of the pandemic. To bring this to life we asked 7 refugees from around the world to take a still image of themselves in scenarios depicting their efforts to help their communities. The images were treated with colour bleeds and a parallax system to create a slow motion effect, while their self-recorded voiceover played under their image.
